Cameron Waterfalls Tour
Cameron Waterfalls is an exciting way to see our northern wilderness. We enjoy a 45-minute drive along the historic Ingraham Trail. The well-marked trail leads you to the spectacular waterfall of the Cameron River cascading 17 vertical meters. We may encounter spruce grouse, whiskey jacks, (gray jays), snowshoe hares. In addition, enjoy serene beauty of the wilderness. The tour is approximately 3.5 hours which includes transfer to and from the waterfalls. We provide bug repellant, water and bear bangers for the hike.
Physical requirements: The hike into the falls is approximately 30 minutes. Moderate to intermediate physical fitness is required. We are climbing large rock surfaces, multiple stairs, and there are some steep inclines to tackle. Most all hikers can do the hike and it can be taken at a very leisurely pace. If you have mobility issues we do not recommend this hike.
We are able to offer the Cameron Rampart's Falls which is a much shorter by special request.
"Tracy is a very personable, knowledgeable and entertaining host who evidently enjoys the work she does. She went the extra mile to ensure her guests had the best experience possible. I went on both the hiking tour to Cameron Falls as well as the Bison Highway tour both tours were hosted by Tracy. All aspects of these tours were well coordinated and executed."
